The Wall Street Journal published an article examining the proposed U.S. restrictions on investment in Chinese biotechnology companies and what they could mean for investors, including the AMR Action Fund.
The article highlighted the Fund’s investment in TenNor Therapeutics, a Chinese biotech developing novel antimicrobial therapies that recently completed an IPO. AMR Action Fund CEO Henry Skinner warned that new restrictions could limit investment in a region that has become an increasingly important source of biotechnology innovation and capital.
“This limitation forecloses on a potentially very attractive region,” Skinner said.
