CEO Henry Skinner Joins Harvard Chan School Panel on AMR

The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health convened several experts to discuss the rising threat of antimicrobial resistance and challenges pertaining to stewardship, innovation, and access. The event, which also featured an appearance from U.S. Congressman Drew Ferguson of Georgia, made use of the new BBC StoryWorks film “Race Against Resistance” to help facilitate the conversation.

Other panelists included Yewande Alimi, Antimicrobial Resistance Program Coordinator for the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention & co-lead for the Africa Union Task force on AMR, and Akhila Kosaraju, CEO and President of Phare Bio. Sarah Fortune, John LaPorte Given Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School, moderated the event.
